Cancellation / Return / Refund Policy
At McAvy, we want you to be completely confident in every purchase. While we hope you love your fragrance, we understand there may be rare occasions where you need to cancel, return, or request a refund.
Cancellations
- Orders may only be canceled before shipment.
- Once shipped, cancellations are no longer possible. If you no longer wish to keep your order, you may return it under the conditions outlined below.
Returns
- Eligible returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery (based on the carrier’s delivery date).
- Only products that are sealed, unopened, and in their original condition/packaging can be returned.
- Opened or used fragrances cannot be returned due to health, safety, and quality assurance standards.
How to request a return:
- Submit a request through your McAvy account order page or by using our return request link.
- Once approved, you’ll receive a prepaid return shipping label.
Return Fees & Refunds
- A non-refundable return shipping fee will be applied (calculated at the time of your request).
- A $5 handling & inspection fee per item will also apply.
- Refunds are issued once the product passes inspection at our warehouse.
- If approved, your refund will be the purchase amount minus shipping and handling fees.
- Original shipping fees are non-refundable unless your full order is returned in compliance with our policy.
Rejected returns:
- If an item is opened, damaged, or does not meet our return requirements, it will be safely disposed of, and no refund will be issued. Return shipping and handling fees will still apply.
Damaged or Incorrect Items
- If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us within 14 days of delivery.
- Claims may require photo proof. Once verified, we will issue a full refund or store credit, without requiring the item to be returned.
Non-Returnable Items
- Discovery/Tester – final sale, non-returnable.
- Sale items & discounted purchases – final sale.
- Gift cards – non-refundable. Purchases made with gift cards will be refunded back to the original card.
- Opened fragrances – personal dislike of scent after opening does not qualify for return or refund. We recommend exploring our discovery sets before committing to full sizes. Additionally, we recommend carefully reviewing the scent notes and ingredients listed on each product page before purchasing.
Exchanges
We do not offer exchanges. If you would like a different item, please return the original (if eligible) and place a new order.
Important Notes:
- Always use the prepaid shipping label provided by McAvy. Returns shipped with any other label will not be accepted.
- McAvy is not liable for lost or misdirected returns unless our provided label was used.
